A Crazy food journey at Crazy Kitchen Lounge & Terrace

Situated in the food hub of the city, the lesser known Crazy Kitchen Lounge & Terrace is the one to visit. With crude rustic interiors, this place is haven for college students as it has a varied menu and the best part being the low prices that won’t hurt your pocket as much!

While they have two floors for seating, the second floor and the terrace seating, its best suited for cozy winter lunches or maybe even a brunch! And the American, Italian with some Mexican dishes is what we like. Although the lighting is a bit dingy but then great food at such amazing prices is a God-send. Isn’t it?

So here what we had!

Arrabiata PastaIMG_2043

Penne pasta cooked perfectly in tangy tomato sauce with loads of garlic gave us some serious foodgasm! With high flavors of garlic and black pepper, pasta never tasted this good. Served with a slice of toasted garlic bread, topped with butter really amped up the dish. The hint of Italian herbs makes it even more delectable. Do try it while you’re there!

Veg. Singapuri NoodlesIMG_2047

And this little bowl of happiness served us some palatable Veg Singapuri Noodles. Spicy and loaded with veggies like capsicum and cabbage, it was one the best I ever had! The lingering flavor of garlic really made my mouth water and I was sure to finish it up on my own ( well I didn’t. I shared it with my friends!). Cooked perfectly in soy and garlic sauce, hands down it is the best Singapuri Noodles and at such great price.

Mexican Baked Bean NachosIMG_2059

And with much excitement we ordered the Mexican Baked Bean Nachos. But as we took the first bite, all our excitement went down the drain. Not that they were bland but actually sweet. And I’m guessing the beans made it a tad bit sweeter. Well it’s okay for a dish to disappoint but the rest what we ordered lived up to the expectations.

And lastly to replenish the taste of our mouths, we ordered the Malai Chaap Tikka.

Succulent pieces of Soya Chaap, marinated in cream and spices like black pepper was what we needed to get the bad taste of the nachos out of our mouths. The Soya Chaap was cooked to perfection with dices of tomato, capsicum and onions. And when served with mint chutney, it really made our day.
